We each have positive expectations for a coaching relationship that will help you create the life and business you want to enjoy. I invite you to think of Coaching as a process. Many people can create change by themselves or with a coach in a short amount of time. However, creating lasting, positive change and expansion can take several months. Progress with one goal will likely have a positive influence on other goals and aspects of your life, thus, reviewing and updating your goals regularly is recommended. Although not binding, I would ask that our Coaching relationship lasts at least 3 months depending on your progress and satisfaction.

Coach’s Commitments: are to serve as your Coach and neutral partner to help you identify and achieve your personal and/or professional goals and to be your champion for your success. I cannot guarantee results as your choices and actions will determine your success, but I do commit to helping you in every way I can. During our coaching sessions, I will devote my time, resources, thoughts and attention to you, exclusively. In between our sessions, I may not be instantly available, but will always respond to you within 24 hours. You can expect me to challenge you, offer fresh perspectives, make requests (occasionally homework), acknowledge your wins, and guarantee utmost confidentiality (unless I fear for your own or another’s safety) in our relationship. As a professional member of the International Coach Federation, I am bound to the ICF Ethics Codes, so please become familiar with them. You can find them here: ICF Code of Ethics. I can be available for additional time, per your written request, on an hourly fee basis. I am available to provide additional services in reviewing documents, reading reports, engaging in other client-related services such as business consulting, advising etc, outside of our standard coaching time.

Client’s Commitments: are to be motivated and committed to taking action on my self-determined personal and professional goals. I realize that anything less than full honesty, participation and action may not lead to positive results or my success. I accept full responsibility for myself, my thoughts, choices, decisions and actions I do or do not take related to Coaching. Thus, I hold Coach Ursula Neal harmless for any negative results or effects during or after our sessions together. I am under the care of a physician and healthy enough to engage in coaching. I am responsible for creating and implementing my own physical, mental and emotional well-being, decisions, choices, actions and results. I understand that Ursula is a Coach, not a psychologist, minister, therapist, legal or health expert or counselor trained in diagnosing or suggesting remedies for psychological, legal, financial or medical conditions. If any issues come up that should be handled by a medical, legal, or other expert, I commit to resolving whatever that issue is with the appropriate professional. I understand that Coach Ursula is not and will not be liable for any of my actions or inaction, or for any direct or indirect result of any services provided. I understand coaching is not therapy and does not substitute for therapy if needed, and does not prevent, cure, or treat any mental or medical disorder, nor is coaching to be used as a substitute for medical or legal or financial advice.

Fees: are Prepaid according to the price package desired and purchased. Special arrangements can be negotiated regarding amount and due dates. Fees are payable to Ursula Neal via mailed check or paypal (Ursula@compassreset.com) on or before the 1st of each month or due per special arrangement. Once a month has started, there is no refund. If Client prepays for blocks of time (example: 3 months/12 weeks) and decides to cancel, the balance of unused hours for the following months can be placed on account for future sessions or can be refunded. There is no commitment beyond month-to-month, but please provide a few weeks’ notice if you decide to end our sessions.

Procedure: Please call Ursula (602-400-4423 MST) or skype (UrsulaNeal) at the specified time of each coaching session. If you prefer a recorded call, I can arrange that. Our sessions are based on your priorities, needs, and agenda, and may include an overall life assessment session which can take 90 minutes or so. Other sessions average 45-60 minutes each week or as needed. We will evaluate progress, and whether or not to continue, at the end of each month.

Changes: If you need to reschedule our appointment, please give 24 hours’ notice unless you have an emergency or illness and cannot contact me. If you do not show up for a scheduled call and provide no notice, we may not make up that time and you may not be refunded for the missed session. If I need to reschedule, I will give you at least 24 hours’ notice as well, barring an emergency or illness.

Between Calls: If you wish to connect in between sessions to share with me with a challenge, a success, or a question, I will try to respond to your e-mail within a few hours but will respond within 24 hours. I’m happy to provide this extra level of service at no additional charge. Email me freely any time at ursula@CompassReset.com with ideas, problems, questions, etc, or to reschedule a call.

Problem Resolution: If I ever say or don’t say, or do or don’t do, something that upsets you, that you don’t understand or doesn’t feel right, please bring it to my attention so we can resolve it immediately. My objective is to have our coaching relationship be open, safe, honest, real and trusting. Often, communication via telephone or email entails extra challenges since we cannot see body language, facial expressions, etc. Therefore we both agree to give each other plenty of latitude, and promptly ask for clarification if there is a misconnection or misunderstanding or the slightest discomfort.

Release of Information: Coach Ursula engages in training and continuing education pursuing and/or maintaining International Coach Federation Credentials. That process requires the names and contact information of all Clients be available for possible verification by the ICF. You can agree or not to have only your name, contact information and start and end dates of coaching shared with ICF staff members and/or other parties involved in this process for the sole purpose of verifying the coaching relationship. No personal notes will be shared. According to the ethics of our profession, topics may be anonymously and hypothetically shared with other coaching professionals for training, supervision, mentoring, evaluation, further coach professional development, and/or consultation purposes.

Resolution and Limited Liability: If a dispute arises out of this agreement that cannot be resolved by mutual consent, the Client and Coach agree to attempt to mediate in good faith for up to 30 days after notice given. Except as expressly provided in this agreement, the Coach makes no guarantees or warranties, express or implied. The Coach will not be liable to the Client for consequential or special damages. The Coach’s entire liability (the Client’s exclusive remedy) would be limited to the amount paid by the Client to the Coach under this agreement for all services rendered up until the termination date. If the dispute is not resolved, and in the event of legal action, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover attorney’s fees and court costs from the other party.

Signatures: Our signatures on an Agreement demonstrate our individual understanding and commitment to fulfill the terms above. If there is anything missing in this Agreement that either Coach or Client wants to add (as each coaching relationship is unique to each Client’s needs and desires) both Coach and Client can present any additional terms for consideration and mutual agreement to add to this Agreement at a later date.
